In 2011, QD Vision won the SEMI award for North America for its pioneering quantum dot research, while in 2009, the company won the Wall Street Journal’s Technology Innovation Award. Technology Review called the company’s display technology a “quantum leap.”

The company has raised more than $55 million from top-tier venture capital firms North Bridge Venture Partners, Highland Capital Partners, DTE Energy Ventures, In-Q-Tel, Passport Capital, Novus Energy Partners, and Capricorn Investment Group.
